Banmankhi Junction will be rejuvenated: The fate of 500 railway stations of the country will change together, in which Banmankhi Junction will also come. On 6 August, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Amrit Bharat station scheme.
Passenger facility will be expanded at a cost of 21 crores.
Railways is continuously making efforts to provide better connectivity and hi-tech facilities at stations to Banmankhi Junction of Purnia district of Bihar and in this series, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Amrit Bhartiya Yojana to rejuvenate 500 railway stations of the country along with Banmankhi Junction. The station is going to lay the foundation stone of the scheme which will be done on 6th August.
Along with the construction work under the Amrit Bharat station scheme, attention will also be paid to the facilities of the passengers. Especially Banmankhi Railway Station will be equipped with Mine Foot Over Bridge, Station Building Indicator, PP Center, Lift, High Level Platform, Integrated Passenger Convenience System, High Mast Light and Digital Clock.
The government has given such a huge amount for the rejuvenation of Banmankhi station.
It is noteworthy that for further development of Banmankhi Jackson, the government has provided an amount of 21.5 crores. Passenger facilities will be expanded in Banmankhi with the same amount of money. Simultaneously, Amrit was selected as Bharat station. Banmankhi residents are very happy due to the gift of the Government of India to the only station in Seemanchal.
Disappointment among people due to Kursela-Bihariganj railway line hanging in the balance.
While there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people of Banmankhi due to the selection of Bal Manki railway station as Amrit Bhartiya station, there is also disappointment among many people due to hanging in the balance of Bihariganj Kursela railway line since years ago. It is said that in order to increase the wind of development in the areas of Kursela and Dhamdaha, former Railway Minister Late. Lalita Narayan Mishra had dreamed of this railway section. In the year 2008, the then Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav tried to make it a reality.But after this no one’s attention went towards it. Due to which the development of that side has not been done due to which there is a lot of disappointment among the people there. Railway officials are still unresponsive in this direction. If everything went well here, then toured throughout the year. The nature of the railway station will be towards the big station. In fact, after the selection under the Amrit Indian station scheme. The exercise to make Banmankhi railway station a model station has been intensified and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay its virtual foundation stone on 6 August.

Amrit Bharat Scheme Station Yojana This is a scheme under which the common stations of the country will be expanded and equipped with very high connectivity and hi-tech facilities. About 500 such stations have been selected in this country which will be upgraded under this scheme. Will be molded as a level station. Its foundation stone will be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 6 August 2023.
