Train accident: Everyone was suddenly startled by a loud sound. The fear of some untoward incident kept him awake. When it was learned that the train had met with an accident, there was panic. Noise all around.
It is pitch dark below. What are society and humanity? Here people were seen running and panting even from villages fifteen to twenty kilometers away.

Bogies derailed of the Train Accident.
The bogies derailed. One coach was in a position that she had come back from down line to up line. The incident site was in the western part of Raghunathpur station. It was already night, the nearby markets were also closed, but the news of the accident spread everywhere. The philosophy of society and humanity was visible here, when people from nearby villages fifteen-twenty kilometers away started reaching there, gasping for breath.
Many people ran to help.
People from Diara area also came to help. Many people had come from villages like Bharkhar, Rahthua, Kant, Kaithi, Dhodhanpur, Babudera etc. The eyes of the injured were filled with hope. Brahmapur police station incharge Ranjit Kumar was the first to reach here. The administrative team reached the headquarters after about an hour. By then the villagers were busy evacuating the passengers. Relief work was becoming difficult here due to pitch darkness, so the villagers brought a generator from nearby and provided light there. One person is running with water and the other is taking the children out. Someone helps the injured onto the ambulance. Whatever was happening, we were doing it. Many people were asking for collaboration, including Vinod Ojha, Shailesh Kumar, Vishal Singh and Anand Sharma.
On one hand there was an effort to save people’s lives, and on the other hand some people were looking for opportunities in the disaster. When a person was running away with a passenger’s bag, people saw him. The bag was taken from his hand and handed over to the police. It included jewelery etc. The police threatened him and left him. Everyone was busy saving the injured, but he was helpless by habit. Then he was seen cleaning the stuff. This time he was beaten severely. This too was a sight. Passengers’ luggage was scattered, tracks were uprooted and bogies were overturned.

The crowd kept gathering till midnight
This was indicating an accident. The night was getting darker. By 12.30 the crowd was on the ground. Anju Devi of Danapur boarded the train from Varanasi. Little did they know that this accident was going to happen after some time. His family members were also present. The train was very crowded, he said. She was standing in the corridor in the sleeper coach with her daughter and grandchildren. Other passengers fell on the train when suddenly there was a sharp jerk, and everyone started jumping as it stopped.

She became frightened. Came out. The ambulance arrived. The injured were being treated at Raghunathpur Primary Hospital. There was also Buxar. Seriously injured passengers were sent to Patna. There was a huge crowd of people at Buxar station. Trains stopped working. By 1 o’clock in the night the situation was completely under control, but the ambulances still kept running with sirens sounding.
