BJP Candidate List 2024: For the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled another list of candidates. This list includes several sitting Members of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh whose tickets have been revoked by the BJP.

In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP has released a list of retained candidates. Following a meeting at the BJP’s national headquarters on Saturday, these names were finalized. The party has decided not to field many current MPs on various seats in the state this time, including Central Minister VK Singh.

Within this list, BJP has denied tickets to sitting MPs like Varun Gandhi from Pilibhit, Sanghamitra Maurya from Badaun, and the current MP from Ghaziabad. The party has opted for new faces on these seats.

Notable Changes and New Candidates

Varun Gandhi from Pilibhit has been replaced by Jitin Prasad, a minister in the previous government. Additionally, Meenakshi Gandhi‘s ticket has been shifted to Sultanpur, while actor Arun Govil has been given an opportunity from Meerut.

Updates on Candidate Selection in Various Constituencies

BJP has replaced V.K. Singh with Atul Garg from Ghaziabad and given Satish Gautam another chance from Aligarh. After a viral video incident involving Upendra Rawat from Barabanki, Rajrani Rawat has been entrusted with the candidacy there. Sarvesh Singh has been granted a ticket from Muradabad, and Anoop Valmiki will contest from Hathras.

Changes in Candidate Nominations and Party Decisions

Similarly, Swami Prasad Maurya’s daughter Sanghamitra’s ticket has been revoked, with Durvijay Shakya receiving the nomination for Braj region. Santosh Gangwar’s ticket from Bareilly has been replaced by Kshtrapal Gangwar. Ramesh Avasthi will now contest from Kanpur after Satyadev Pachauri declined, while Raghav Lakhanpal will represent Saharanpur.
