Siraj is the fastest bowler to complete the 5-wicket haul in ODI cricket. Siraj took 5 wickets in just 16 balls. Kusal Mendis stood firm for the team at the crease but he lost his wicket to Siraj in the 12th over (17 runs). In this way Siraj completed his 6-wicket haul. On the basis of his brilliant performance, Siraj won the title of Player of the Match in the Asia Cup 2023 final match.
Kuldeep Yadav won the title of Player of the Series.
Kuldeep Yadav bowled only one over against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2023 final, in which he gave one run. In the Super-4 round, Kuldeep Yadav took 5 wickets against Pakistan and 4 wickets against Sri Lanka. Kuldeep Yadav has taken 9 wickets in 5 matches at an average of 11.44 and economy of 3.70 in Asia Cup 2023. Due to his excellent performance, Kuldeep Yadav won the title of Player of the Series.
