In 2022, fog-related traffic accidents claimed 14,000 lives in India. On the other hand, around 15,000 people suffered severe injuries. According to a NASA research, the Ganga plains have seen a rise in fog attacks over the past three decades. in particular, radiation fog. The pollution caused by aerosols has enhanced this. The burning of stubble, industry smoke, and transportation all contribute to a rise in air pollution.
