Plane collide in Japan: A plane caught fire at Haneda Airport in Japan. The Japan Times reported that the plane collided with a Coast Guard plane before landing. During this, five out of six crew members aboard the Coast Guard plane were killed. Despite being injured, the pilot was successful in getting out of the plane.

A spokesperson for Japan Airlines (JAL) said the passenger plane had departed from Shin-Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. There were approximately 367 passengers and twelve crew members on board. Everyone has been evacuated safely from the plane.

In fact, the Coast Guard plane was going to deliver essential goods to the earthquake-affected areas. Japan’s Transport Ministry investigated the entire matter.

The JAL flight left New Chitose Airport at approximately 4 p.m. Japanese time, according to the BBC. This happened at 5:40 pm in Tokyo. The video of plane fire is going viral on social media. In this, firefighters are seen trying to extinguish the fire.

The Japan Times reported that all runways at Haneda Airport have been closed due to the accident. Many flights are being diverted at Narita Airport.
