Plane crashed in Afghanistan: On Sunday, a plane crashed in Badakhshan Khan area of Afghanistan. India’s Civil Aviation Department said the crashed plane was an air ambulance. He was going to Moscow from Thailand. He refueled at Gaya Airport in India.

According to the information received, the plane lost its way due to technical fault and crashed in Jebag district of Afghanistan. The accident happened in a hilly area. The media of Pakistan and Afghanistan had earlier reported it to be an Indian aircraft.

Taliban sent team to investigate the crash.

Zabihullah Amiri, spokesman for Badakhshan’s information department, told Tolo News that a team has been sent to the area to investigate the incident. More information about the plane and the accident is expected only after testing.

DF-10 model small plane crashed.

According to the information, the small plane that crashed in Afghanistan was of DF-10 model. This small, two-engine plane can carry six passengers and crew members. Chartered flights or air ambulances operate it.

The DF-10 model aircraft cannot travel long distances after refueling because its range is limited. Therefore, it took fuel at Bihar airport while coming to India from Thailand.

Taliban said- the crashed plane was going to Uzbekistan.

India has described the crashed plane as a Moroccan plane. Taliban’s Transport and Aviation Minister Imamuddin Ahmadi told Bhaskar reporter that the crashed plane was going from India to Uzbekistan. Was working like an air ambulance. The plane reached Afghanistan due to losing its way.

News agency told- there was a technical fault in the plane.

RT and news agency Reuters reported that the plane was a Russian government jet. There were six passengers in it. Took flight from India to Tashkent on Saturday at around 7 pm. Technical fault diverted this route. Later it broke into Jibak and Karan Manjan districts of Badakhshan Khan.

Indian airlines do not use Afghanistan’s airspace.

Since 2021, after the Taliban took over Afghanistan, no Indian aircraft are flying from Afghan airspace. This is being done for security purposes. In such a situation, airlines have to travel a slightly longer distance through Uzbekistan while flying to western countries.
