SSC JE 2023 Notification Out: On 26 July 2023, the Staff Selection Commission has published the application process for the recruitment of SSC JE 2023. Those students who are eligible for the SSC JE exam can apply through the link given in this article or you can also fill the online application by visiting the official website of SSC. - There will be negative marking equal to one-third of the marks allotted to the question for each wrong answer in Paper-I & Paper-II

SSC JE 2023 Eligibility
- Candidates who wants to apply for SSC JE 2023 Online form fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India, must be a citizen of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, or an Indian citizen from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya or East Africa who came to India before 1 January 1962. Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Limit of the age: If you want to apply for SSC JE 2023 form, then your age should be between 18 years to 32 years.
- Educational Qualification: On the other hand, talking about the educational qualification for the SC 2023 vacancy application process, then the candidate should be a diploma or degree engineering, which should be a student of civil, electrical and mechanical branch.
Indicative Syllabus
- The level of questions in engineering-related disciplines will roughly correspond to that of a diploma in engineering (civil/mechanical/electrical). The following gives the syllabus’s specifics:
Paper 1
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: Both verbal and nonverbal questions will be covered in the general intelligence syllabus. Analogies, similarities, differences, spatial visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, mathematical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, mathematical number series, and other cognitive abilities may be tested. Additionally, there will be questions on the exam that will assess the candidate’s aptitude for dealing with abstract concepts and symbols as well as their relationships, arithmetic calculations, and other analytical tasks.
- General Awareness: Questions will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research, etc. These question
