Tulsi Pujan Vidhi: Rituals to Follow

  1. Morning Salutation: Begin your day by performing a ritualistic bath and offering salutations to the Tulsi plant. Use a vessel to pour water on the plant.
  2. Offerings: Before watering the plant, apply akshat (uncooked rice), chandan (sandalwood paste), roli (vermilion), and turmeric (haldi) to the Tulsi plant.
  3. Circumambulation (Parikrama): Depending on your convenience, perform 7, 11, 21, or 111 circumambulations around the Tulsi plant. Afterward, meditate on Mother Tulsi.
  4. Evening Ritual: Light a ghee lamp near the Tulsi plant in the evening. This practice ensures a harmonious atmosphere in the home, fostering peace and prosperity.

Significance of Tulsi Pujan

In Hinduism, Tulsi holds a position of utmost sanctity among plants. Regular worship and daily darshan of Tulsi are believed to absolve one of all sins.
