Ayodhya Deepotsav 2023: Ayodhya is lit up on the festival of lights. 24 lakh lamps were lit at 51 ghats of Ram Ki Paidi on the banks of river Saryu. The story of Ram was narrated through laser lights. 21 lakh lamps will be lit in the 7th Deepotsav, which will create a new history. 3 lakh additional lamps have been placed.

The drone counts the lamps. 1.5 lakh liters of mustard oil has been used to light 24 lakh lamps. Ambassadors of 51 countries have also participated in the Diwali celebrations.

In the afternoon, Lakshman, Mother Sita and Lord Ram landed at Ramkatha Park by Pushpak Viman. Governor Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath welcomed him by showering flowers. After that tilak was applied to him.

Yogi said, “We have seen and are seeing a changed Ayodhya.” In the next two months, Ramlala will sit in his place after five hundred years. The theme of Ramayana will be shown through light and sound show on a 200X60 feet screen. Ambassadors of about twenty-five countries will witness the Festival of Lights during this period. More than 25 thousand people have made 16X16 lamp blocks. There are 256 lamps in each block. The lawyer will light 85 to 90 lamps.

The work of putting oil and wick in more than 24 lakh lamps started from 10 am on Saturday under the supervision of supervisor, ghat in-charge, coordinator and counting volunteers. Which continued till around six in the evening. Later, the Guinness World Records team will count the dips using drones at each ghat. Record when calculation is finished.
