Boston Marathon 2024 realignment: Course highlights, winners and news.
Boston Marathon 2024: April 15, more than 30,000 runners will compete in the 128th running of the Boston Marathon.
Helen Obiri of Kenya, Sisay Lema of Ethiopia, Eden Rainbow-Cooper of England and Marcel Hug of Switzerland won four separate races. This year the Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program features 168 nonprofit organizations aiming to raise $50 million.
The BAA Racing app will also provide race leaderboards and unofficial results upon crossing the finish line. The BAA website will allow you to search for athletes during races and view the leaderboard in real time.
How were the runners affected by the heat?
Monday’s marathon took place in Boston with temperatures in the low 70s, the hottest day of 2024. As of 6 pm on Monday, 77 athletes were brought to local hospitals.
It was a far cry from the 2023 Boston Marathon in temperatures in the 50s and rain.

Boston Malta After Party Information
Information about the Boston Charles After Party: Samuel Adams, the Boston Marshal’s Monster and his fans are performing for an after party at Boston’s City Hall Plaza. The “Mile 27 Post-Race Party” will begin at 5 p.m. Des Linden and Kara Goucher will host the champions crowning. Tickets are $15 per individual ticket. Registered players have been sent an email with a unique code for the discount in February. Children under 12 are allowed free entry, but not accompanied by an adult.

Roberto Cavalli: Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, known for his animal-print designs favored by showbusiness stars, has died at the age of 83, his company said. Cavalli had formed his own label in the early 1970s, but he had been ill for some time.
