Challengers movie: Challengers is a 2024 romantic sports film directed by Luca Guadagnino and written by Justin Kuritzkes. In the story, a professional tennis player plans a comeback with the help of his wife. He is a former tennis player who has retired after an injury, and he goes up against another player, who is also his former best friend and wife’s ex-boyfriend.

Zendaya is playing Tashi Donaldson née Duncan, a former tennis player’s coach, in a new Guadagnino movie. The film’s official description says she is “a force of nature and makes no apologies for her game on and off the court”.
The 27-year-old is best known for her roles as MJ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home). Zendaya became the youngest winner of an Emmy Award for her role in HBO’s Euphoria.
Tashi is married to Art Donaldson, a six-time Grand Slam winner in the Challengers. Art is played by Tony Award-winning actor Mike Feist, best known to film audiences for his role as Jets leader Riff in Steven Spielberg’s 2021 remake of West Side Story.
Josh O’Connor, washed-up tennis player Patrick Zweig, who was Tashi’s former lover and Art’s former best friend and doubles partner, completes the love triangle. O’Connor followed supporting roles in Doctor Who and Peaky Blinders in the romantic drama God’s Country.

Challengers Movie Story
Zendaya played Tashi, a former tennis player who becomes the manager of a former tennis player, in the film “Challengers”. Tashi trains former tennis player Art Donaldson (Mike Faist). Nevertheless, the film is based on the love story of Zendaya, Mike Feist, and Josh O’Connor. Tashi’s husband Art has to compete against his friend Patrick on the tennis court, which is interesting. You have to watch the movie to see how Tashi works now.
Challengers Movie Trailor
The first trailer of the Challengers film came out almost ten months ago in June last year. This was when Challengers was made the opening film of the 2023 Venice International Film Festival. But due to the Hollywood actors’ strike lasting from July to November 2023, the film’s release date was postponed and the film was pulled from the festival.
A second trailer for Challengers arrived in February, which was scheduled for release in April. Finally, MGM released a third and final trailer on April 22, the week of the film’s release, which you can watch below.

Roberto Cavalli: Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, known for his animal-print designs favored by showbusiness stars, has died at the age of 83, his company said.
