About The Eid
Eid is a special festival that Muslims celebrate twice a year. The first is called Eid-ul-Fitr and it comes after the month of Ramzan. During Ramzan, Muslims fast and worship a lot. Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated after the sighting of the new moon after Ramzan. The second Eid is called Eid-ul-Zuha and it occurs in the month of Dhul Hajj. On this day Muslims celebrate the completion of a special pilgrimage called Hajj. They also sacrifice a goat as a tradition.

Long time ago a very important person named Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sahib won a great battle called Battle of Badr. To remember this victory and to be happy, people celebrate a special festival called Eid. Eid-ul-Fitr-
The word Eid-ul-Fitr comes from the Persian language and means homage. Some people also call it sweet Eid. It is a special celebration for Muslims and they call it Badi Eid. Eid-ul-Fitr is a special festival for Muslims which is celebrated after the holy month of Ramadan. It begins when they see the new moon in the sky. On this day Muslims wear new clothes and go to special places to pray to Allah and ask for forgiveness. They also give charity to the needy people, which is called Fitra. That is why it is called Eid-ul-Fitr. On this day everyone is happy and kind to each other. They cook and eat a lot of delicious food like sweet vermicelli. They also give gifts to younger siblings and wish each other Eid. It is a time of joy and celebration for Muslims.Eid Mubarak 2023
Eid-ul-Zuha-
Bakrid, also known as Eid-ul-Zuha, is a special festival for people who follow the Islamic religion. This is the time when he remembers an important story about Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail. Long time ago, Prophet Ibrahim had a dream where he was asked to sacrifice something that he loved very much. He loved his son Ismail the most, so he decided to sacrifice him. But just as he was about to do so, Allah replaced Ismail with a goat. Since then, people celebrate Bakrid by sacrificing a goat and sharing its meat with the poor, their friends and their families. It is a time to remember the importance of sacrifice in their faith and giving.
