Parliament Attacks in India: In the Lok Sabha, two young men jumped from the visitor’s gallery and began releasing yellow smoke. Members of Parliament initially beat them, and then the police took them into custody.

Security Breach: Investigation into 6 Characters

So far, the investigation into this security breach has revealed six characters. Two created chaos inside the Parliament, and two staged a protest outside. All four are in police custody. Two more individuals involved in the planning, including one who housed everyone, are also under arrest. One person is still at large.

BJP MP Issued Visitor Pass to Both

The Delhi Police reported that the two young men, Sagar Sharma and D. Manoranjan, entered with a visitor pass issued by BJP MP Pratap Simha’s office.

Current Information

The police have shared details, including Aadhar cards, about Sagar Sharma and D. Manoranjan. Sagar Sharma, from Ramnagar in Alam Bagh, Lucknow, works as an e-rickshaw driver.

Neelam – Teacher and Participant in Farmers’ Protest

The arrested woman, Neelam from Hisar, Haryana, is a teacher studying for the civil services. She has been residing in paying guest accommodation in Hisar for the past six months, pursuing her studies.

Gurugram Resident Vicky Sharma

Those who demonstrated both inside and outside Parliament, including Sagar, Manoranjan, Neelam, and Amol Shinde, stayed in Gurugram, and Lalit Jha was with them. Vicky Sharma, who stayed with them, has also been taken into police custody with his wife.

Assault on MP Hanuman Beniwal

Hanuman Beniwal, the MP involved, stated that these individuals were called from his office for party membership. However, when he realized they were not party members, he asked them to leave. He saw them carrying yellow smoke and confronted them, leading to physical altercation.

Youths’ Version: ‘We Were Attacked During the Journey’

The youths claim that they were attacked during their journey after leaving BJP MP Pratap Simha’s office. They allege an attempt to harm them and shared that after their arrest, they were initially beaten by MPs and then by the police.

Police Statement

According to Delhi Police, these youths and the woman reached Delhi Bulletin Chowk outside Parliament from the visitor’s premises. While they had the right to enter by showing a visitor pass, security measures led to them being stopped. The police took everyone accompanying them into custody.
